Our Coffee

Colombia Medellin Supremo

Our Colombia comes from the Medellin coffee region located in the Corillera Cental Mountains. This coffee is grown by small farmers on the slopes of the mountains at an altitude of 5,500 ft. Tree varieties are primarily bourbon and typica. The coffee cherries are typically transported to centrally located wet mills for processing. Drying is done via a combination of sun drying on patios and mechanical drying in large rotating drums. The beans are sorted according to size by passing them through screens. Supremo grade comprises the largest size beans of 17 and 18 screen.
